Description

In a dead-end street in Neerhespen, part of rural Linter, between Leuven and Sint-Truiden, we find this surprising, renovated farmhouse.
A house with a lot of love in it. The current owner converted it into a spacious, energy-efficient home while retaining its authentic character. The wooden facade blends beautifully into the green surroundings: your personal oasis of tranquillity.

The charm of the front façade continues throughout the rest of the house. From original floor tiles, over stained-glass windows to vaulted ceilings. From the hall, you easily reach the kitchen, which flows into a handy laundry room and rear extension with access to the large garden (14 ares).

The heart of the house is the living space with loft. Its unique stove, brick walls and wooden ceilings make it extra cosy. Wide windows offer a sublime view of the lovely garden with mature planting, plenty of shady spots, fruit trees and even a picturesque pond. Green fingers can indulge themselves to the full here.
Still on the ground floor are an office and storage room, both with beautiful vaulted ceilings.

The staircase leads you to 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 dressings. Here you also have access to the mezzanine, which now serves as a library and overlooks the living space and garden. Next door is the bathroom with bathtub, shower and double washbasin.
A second staircase takes you to a spacious attic. Extra children's room, master suite, mancave or hobby room? Anything is possible here!

Private parking is also located next to the house. A house with masses of possibilities, both inside and outside.

The owners,

owner speaks out

The ecological play-, climbing- and picking garden has given us and our (grand)children pleasure for many years. When we planted fruit trees in the garden 27 years ago, little did we know what wonderful times we would have here. Moreover, the now mature planting provides shade and coolness on hot days. We have made so many wonderful memories here.
Inside too, the house is very nice and more than spacious enough.
Despite all the love we put into it, we are leaving our fine, spacious home and our chunk of wild nature to live closer to our growing, Antwerp 'city'- grandchildren.
