The dizzyingly high ceilings make me feel small, despite my height of two metres. The lawn and the Dijle in front of the door ensure that you can see exceptionally far. I also find that really blissful in the city. Furthermore, it is also lovely to have everything within walking distance, two bakeries, not one but two cinemas, De Nekker and even the ice rink. You're also close to the Grote Markt, Mechels Broek and - perhaps most importantly - Gautier's delicious ice creams. We walk the dog or go jogging in nearby Mechels Broek. Our girls love the fact that we can go for Werner's chips on foot, as the chip shop is just around the corner. We can even walk to school, sometimes stopping off at the bakery on the way ... Truly a family home in the middle of a nice city on a human scale.
