'The peace and quiet and the feeling that you can completely isolate yourself from the world here ... That's worth its weight in gold for us. If we feel like shopping, we can easily get to Dendermonde by bike or to Ghent by car. The sunny summer days on the terrace and the spacious garden, autumnal evenings around the outdoor fireplace or, in winter, after a lovely walk, warming up inside by the crackling fire are wonderful memories, as are the many garden parties with friends and Christmas Eve, when the whole family stayed over. The house enjoys wonderful light all year round, but especially during the beautiful winter days, a certain magic rests here.

The abundant nature all around, with the Scheldt dykes as our top favourite for walks and bike rides, and our newly refurbished gym keep us active.
